More about me…
I am a former Math’s and Science student (I had these subjects up to matric). I then decided to invest my time in extra classes for school friends and family. This then started to occur over weekends.
I started as a Math’s and Science teacher at a private school in Randfontein using the ACE American curriculum. I then progressed to a private Mathematics Tutoring company (Math’s Mad Easy) with branches in Randfontein and Krugersdorp. During this time, I started my tertiary studies in IT at UNISA.
All good things come to an end…
I started off at an ISP in the Support department and then worked my way up to the Server Administrator department, so currently I am permanently employed at said ISP as a System Engineer.
I still endeavor to give classes to school learners that need some extra lessons or exam prep. I am very good at relaying information to others. And I analyze the way an individual learns or needs to receive information.
How do the classes work?
I mostly give additional aid, help with homework problems or specific problems. I give extra exam prep and/or exam papers, or any additional notes and material.
I like giving homework… yes… additional homework is always a must, repetition is the key to remembering how an aspect works.
The great thing about my classes is that I come to you!
Pricing is dependent on the hours of the class and the distance to drive.
Ages and grades
I mostly focus on Grade 8 to Grade 11 Mathematics, but I am able to assist from Grade 7 up till Grade 12 Mathematics.
I do not give classes to grades lower than Grade 7 reason being that young children often get confused if they get shown various methods of doing Math’s, so it is safer having their teacher lay the basics, and then there is still enough time to catch up any missing knowledge or something they do not fully grasp after Grade 7.
Pricing
Prices are dependent on hours and distance per class.

Please note the following: In a case where you are more than 15km from me, the minimum hours I will give class is 1.5 hours. Driving far for only an hour class is not worth the learner or my time (because it could add up to an hour to my trip, sacrificing other classes).
